This little brass insert is screwed into the housing for the carburetor adjusting needle (13980) to seat into for regulating the gas flow. Used in 1928 till Jan. 1930. After Jan. 1930, this brass insert was discontinued and the casting had a machined needle seat. This looks similar to (13470) jet but has a larger hole.
